The numbers paint a clear picture: to keep up with the current threat landscape, nearly as many people as are already working in cybersecurity are still needed. 1.3 million cybersecurity jobs will be needed in the US alone.

To address this gap, many governments are stepping in, with a billion-dollar investments aimed at bolstering cybersecurity efforts.

The urgency is only increasing as cyberattacks rise. So far, nearly 9,500 cyber incidents have been reported in 2024, with the actual number likely far higher.
